Snippet Keying

This is a highly efficient method of key entry from image. Even Recognition is not possible our customers have experienced substantial saving by using Snippet Keying. Here the keyer select the type of keying to perform from a Menu. The work is grouped together by like fields depending on how you setup the form definitions e.g. phone numbers, addresses, amounts, customer Id, etc. Each button on the menu gets enabled only if there is work available for that work type and the priority of work (from 1 to 9) is displayed on the buttons. Each keyer has access to the buttons that their supervisor has set them up for (see UserAdm for more details). The keyer has the option to key in complete fields or only replace the characters that were below our acceptable confidence for the field. If for some reason the keyer needs to see the complete document they can hit a function key to see it or route the document to Full Image or Review Keying.
